Austin Stories stopped accepting new members a long time ago, and no one has posted an update since 2009.
So I've taken down the site.
I've since moved from Austin, and the online journal writing community has evolved into a larger blogging community.
Austin Bloggers is still up and running, and the 2003 JournalCon site will remain an archive.
The code that powered the site is available on Bitbucket and Github for anyone who's curious to see how that fragile bucket of bolts ran. Let me just disclaim that I don't write code like that anymore.
